Kurzweil 1000 Version 14.08 Release Notes

Release 14.08 includes the following bug fixes:

(1)	A non-functional hardware synthesizer can cause Kurzweil 1000 to fail in obscure ways.

(2)	The file name spoken in the prompt for a password protected PDF file was sometimes incorrect.

(3)	Kurzweil 1000 hangs when recognizing a password protected PDF if OmniPage is the recognition engine.

(4)	After downloading certain Braille files from Bookshare.org, they could not be opened.

(5)	The Kurzweil 1000 program window could shrink after the appointment calendar was closed.

(6)	If you go to another page while in image view, it can be difficult to stop continuous reading.

(7)	Normal users were sometimes unable to create audio files.

(8)	Kurzweil 1000 increases the playing speed of an MP3 if you increase the sample rate.
